1. Product Delivery
a) Delivery Timeframe
Within Romania, delivery is typically completed within 24-48 hours. The courier collects and delivers packages on working days, excluding public holidays and other declared non-working days.
b) Package Collection
Your package will be collected by the courier on working days, depending on the availability of the carrier service and the order volume. During peak periods or high-traffic days, delays may occur; however, you will be able to monitor the collection status in real time.
c) Delivery Methods and Costs
When placing an order, you will have the option to choose from various available delivery methods, each with its own fee. The final delivery cost is displayed before order confirmation so that you know exactly what you will pay.
d) Order Tracking
After your order is dispatched, your client account will display the AWB number and the courier company responsible for collecting your package. You can check the delivery status by accessing your account's tracking section or the Order Tracking page. If delays occur, please contact the courier for clarifications or to expedite the delivery.
e) Dispatch of Packages
Packages are dispatched from Novela's registered office and reach the client through our partner courier companies. All orders are processed online: there is no personal collection and no sales take place at our premises.
f) Orders Placed from the Novela App
Physical products can be ordered both from the website and from the Novela app. In both cases, the shipping price is calculated at checkout, depending on the available couriers, and payment is made cash on delivery or by card, within the limits set out in section 2.
g) Delivery Outside Romania
We also deliver outside Romania. For such orders, the delivery time and the shipping price are calculated at checkout, depending on the destination. For deliveries outside Romania, payment by card is mandatory; cash on delivery is not available.
2. Order Payment
a) Cash on Delivery
You can choose to pay in cash directly to the courier upon receiving your package. Once the order is marked as delivered, the cash on delivery invoice is generated and made available in your client account.
b) Online Payment via Card
We accept all types of credit and debit cards. Online payments on novela.ro are processed through Stripe, a system renowned for its high level of security and fraud protection. Upon order delivery, the card payment invoice is generated and available in your client account.
c) Transaction Security
All transactions are conducted using encrypted connections and advanced security protocols. Your bank data is not stored on our servers and is managed exclusively by our payment processor.
d) Cash-on-Delivery Threshold
Cash on delivery may be subject to a value threshold set on the website, under the conditions provided for in Article 9 of the Terms and Conditions. The applicable threshold and its effect on your order are announced on the cart page, before you finalise the order.
e) Free Delivery Threshold
The order value from which delivery becomes free is displayed on the cart page.
f) Coupons That Require Card Payment
Certain discount coupons may also be applied to book bundles. Some of these coupons may require payment by card, in which case cash on delivery is no longer available for that order. This condition is displayed when the coupon is applied.
g) Cancelling an Order
An order may be cancelled, at no cost and with no obligation, for as long as it is in the "Processing" or "Confirmed" status, including when it is confirmed with delivery scheduled for a future date. The order status is visible at any time in your client account.
